The emergence of the digital revolution in India and the world over resulted in seamless flow of information through the information superhighway i.e. the internet. In an attempt to keep pace with the ongoing IT revolution, the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms did implement a few IT based good governance initiatives such as Performance Monitoring & Evaluation System, Centralised Public Grievance Redress & Monitoring System and last but not the least, a web portal of the Department in collaboration with National Informatics Centre, Mizoram.

                   The website indeed is a goldmine of valuable information ranging from important Rules & Regulations to the latest Government instructions which are most relevant for Officials handling personnel administration. The Department is also continuously updating and uploading more information on the web portal and is on the path towards developing a more informative and user friendly portal.

                   It is my pleasure to mention here that the website had been accorded an “Excellent Grading” and ranked 5th amongst the 144 Government run websites during the Website Competition organised by ICT Department on the occasion of the Digital India Week, 2015.

                   I do hope that Government employees in particular and the general public at large will find the website useful and informative. Suggestions and positive feedback for further improvement of the website are most welcome.
